What data MeetBlast collects, why, and how it is protected.
Last updated: May 2, 2026
Summary
MeetBlast is a desktop calendar alerting tool. It reads your calendar so it can warn you before meetings, and stores the minimum information needed to make that work across devices. It does not sell or share your data, and it never reads meeting contents.
Data we collect
When you create an account we store the information you give us and a small amount of context required for the service to function:
- Account: email, display name, optional avatar URL.
- Profile metadata: account creation timestamp, last active timestamp, install platform (Windows or macOS), and last app version seen.
- Calendar metadata: event start time, end time, title, conference link, and attendees only as needed to schedule the next alert. Event bodies and attachments are never read.
- Usage counters: number of meetings alerted, joined, snoozed, and app opens. These are aggregate counters, not per-event records.
- Diagnostic events: anonymized download events (platform, app version, hashed IP) recorded only when you click a download button on this site.
Data we do not collect
- Meeting content, notes, attachments, or chat history.
- Microphone, camera, or screen capture data.
- Browsing activity outside MeetBlast.
- Contacts beyond what is required to display attendee names on an alert.
How your data is used
We use the data above to operate the alert engine, sync state across your installs, show you accurate stats in the account area, and improve product reliability. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking on this site or in the app.
Storage and processing
Account data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security). Each row is keyed to your user ID and is only readable by you. Calendar tokens issued by Google are held by the desktop app on your machine and are never copied to our servers in plaintext.
Your rights
You can view your profile and stats at any time from the account area. You can request export or deletion of your data by contacting us at the address below. Account deletion removes your profile, stats, and preferences.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a privacy-friendly analytics tool to count page visits in aggregate. It does not set cross-site tracking cookies. The desktop app does not use web cookies.
Children
MeetBlast is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date above is updated and the change is summarized in the changelog page. Material changes will be communicated by email to active accounts.
