Privacy Policy

Data we collect

Creating an account produces a small, bounded set of records. We store:

• Account: email address, display name, and optional avatar URL.
• Profile metadata: account creation date, last-active timestamp, install platform (Windows or macOS), and last app version seen.
• Calendar metadata: event start time, end time, title, conference link, and attendee names. Event bodies, notes, and attachments are never accessed.
• Usage counters: meetings alerted, joined, snoozed, and app opens — aggregate numbers, not per-event logs.
• Download diagnostics: platform, app version, and a hashed IP recorded when you click a download link on this site.

Data we do not collect

• Meeting content, notes, or attachments.
• Microphone, camera, or screen capture.
• Browsing activity outside MeetBlast.
• Contacts beyond the attendee names shown on an alert.

Google Calendar tokens

When you connect Google Calendar, OAuth access tokens are stored in the app's sandboxed local storage — they never leave your device. Our servers never see your calendar tokens in plaintext. We request only the calendar scopes needed to read upcoming events: start time, end time, title, conference link, and attendee names.

How your data is used

We use the data above to run the alert engine, sync your preferences across installs, and show usage stats in your account. Calendar data does not train machine-learning models — ours or anyone else's. We don't run advertising and we don't sell your data.

Storage and security

Account data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL with row-level security). Each row is keyed to your user ID; no other account can query it. Data in transit is encrypted over TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted using Supabase's provider-managed keys.

Your rights

You can view your profile and usage stats from the Account tab in the app at any time. To export a copy of your data or delete your account, email privacy@meetblast.net. Deletion removes your profile, preferences, and all stored counters. We complete deletions within 30 days of the request.

Analytics

This site counts page visits with a privacy-friendly analytics tool. No cross-site tracking cookies are set, and no individual browsing sessions are recorded. The desktop app has no web cookies.

Children

MeetBlast is not directed at anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. Changes that expand what we collect or how we use it go out by email to active accounts at least 14 days before they take effect.
